Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech invites you to the screening of the documentary "Picture a Scientist", which will take place on Wednesday 6 December 2023 at 4.30pm in the "Biologie Végétale" auditorium.

About Picture a Scientist

Directed in 2020 by Ian Cheney and Sharon Shattuck, Picture a Scientist is a documentary dedicated to women scientists. A biologist, a chemist and a geologist take viewers on a journey through their own experiences in science, overcoming brutal harassment, institutional discrimination and years of insidious remarks.

From cramped laboratories to field trials, we meet leading scientists who offer new perspectives on how to make science more diverse, equitable and open to all.

With a running time of 97 minutes, Picture a Scientist is part of the official selection of the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival.
