The Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech PhD student’s network (ReDinGembloux) is thrilled to announce its first PhD Symposium at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, which will be held on March 5 2025 in the Espace Senghor!
📢 What is this symposium?
The goal of the event is to place PhD students and Post-Docs under the spotlight for a day and allow them to share their research with the rest of the faculty community in a scientific convention manner. The idea is to bring together all the researched topics in our faculty, however different they may be, to display its wide range of subjects.
✨ Every PhD student and Post-Doc is welcome
Whether you work on analytical chemistry, bioinformatics, soils health, ecology, or anything else. Whether you’re just four months away from your private defense or a few months past your first thesis committee meeting, we would love to hear from you and have you on stage for a 15’ presentation (+5’of Q&A from the public) or your poster.
💯 Practice makes perfect
The symposium is the perfect opportunity to train various crucial skills: pitching your subject efficiently, being good at networking, speaking to an audience unfamiliar with your research topic, and making an eye-catching poster…
👩🏽🎓 Not a PhD student or Post-Doc?
Not a problem! The symposium is also open to bachelor’s and master’s students to show them the outcome and opportunities of pursuing a career in research. Obviously, Professors, PIs, alumni, and industrials are also more than welcome.
