O

ne of the main missions of the University of Liege is to carry out research and train researchers. The doctorate is considered as a training par excellence, marking the beginning of the young researcher's career, who is trained in research by doing research.ULiege has about 2,300 doctoral students, men and women from multicultural and international backgrounds, who are as passionate as they are creative and persistent. All of them are holders of a doctoral project that they carry out well beyond national borders through their publications and by participation in congresses, symposiums or training courses.
