The Faculty of Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech is internationally recognized for its teaching and research quality.

our bioscience engineering masters degrees are offered to students, enabling them to specialise in key areas of life sciences: environmental sciences and technologies, forest and natural space management, agronomic sciences and chemistry and bio-industries.

These specialisations prepare students to manage technological transition, to use biotechnologies, agro-materials and biofuels, to manage natural resources (water, soil, air, etc.), to purify, depollute, and develop new medicines and new forms of food, etc.

Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech also organises, in collaboration with other faculties of the University of Liège and partner institutions, a complete course in landscape architecture, a master's degree in agroecology, a master's degree in innovation management and food design and a master's degree in integrated production and preservation of natural resources in urban and peri-urban areas.

Increasing scientific research both quantitatively and qualitatively is one of Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech's priorities. This is why it has set up the brand-new TERRA research centre.

RESEARCH

The Faculty of Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech also fulfils the mission of "society service". Thanks to its specialised expertise, Gembloux's Office of Environment and Analysis (BEAGx) provides assistance to the general public, professionals and companies in matters of the environment, pollution and quality control.
