Being a doctoral student at Gembloux
Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech welcomes over 400 doctoral students to its campus, with a balanced evolution of enrolments in terms of gender (rates close to 50%).
The majority of doctoral students come from abroad and receive external funding. Research fields range from biology and agronomy to chemistry and the environment. The pluralism of research subjects can be observed simply by looking at the subjects of theses defended.
Graduates
At Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, the number of thesis defenses continues to rise, with around fifty defended each year.
