Academic calendar
T
he academic year is divided into three semesters, each covering about four months.
Learning activities are spread over the first two semesters with the exception of some evaluations or professional integration activities.
Depending on the courses, the pace and schedules can be very variable: sometimes quite intense, sometimes less so, but also with off-peak hours in order to carry out beneficial and important work, for example, at home or in groups.
University studies, therefore, require a high degree of autonomy and good organisation: managing and using time efficiently while preserving motivation and a balance between work and leisure.
To enable everyone to adapt as well as possible to these changes, Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech offers many activities before the start of the academic year and throughout the training programme.
