You don't just become a student by chance! Choosing your studies requires careful reflection, questioning, maturity and preparation !

The range of training offered by higher education institutions is very broad. It can be very complex to choose the course that best suits your profile and expectations.

Knowing your strengths is certainly the most important part of your reflection... What types of courses do you like the most? What are your interests? What are your main character traits?

Your parents, teachers, guidance counsellors can guide you. But to make the most judicious choice,  you need to get as much information as possible about the training courses that attract you.

Study fairs and presentations in secondary schools often make it possible to make a first choice among the  multitude of areas of higher education.

But choosing an area of study is not all! It is equally important to choose the right framework in which you will study!

Participating in study information activities (open days school, information sessions, open courses etc.) offered by university and high school campuses is the best way to get a clear idea of what they offer.

Attending detailed presentations on the content of course programs and their objectives, on the supervision and pedagogical tools developed for these programmes as well as on the various opportunities on offer, visiting campuses, meeting and interviewing students and talking with lecturers are all real opportunities that will help you to make your final decision.

At Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, we organise several information activities per year to enable you to better understand what we offer you.
