Visit of a Vietnamese delegation to Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech

On Friday 5 April, Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech received the visit of the President of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Her Excellency Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, accompanied by the Minister-President of Wallonia Willy Borsus and a Vietnamese delegation of about 40 people.

The entire delegation was welcomed by Prof. Eric Haubruge, Adviser to the Rector of ULiège, and was accompanied by representatives of Wallonie-Bruxelles International, including the General Delegate in Hanoi, Mrs Anne Lange.

After a brief presentation of the University of Liège and the projects underway with Vietnam (in all fields of study), Prof. Philippe Jacques led the entire delegation on a visit to the TERRA Research Centre and its ECOTRON, unique in Europe and allowed Vietnamese doctoral students and researchers staying in Gembloux for the moment
