Open courses are aimed at secondary school students interested in our Bioengineering or Landscape Architecture bachelor's degrees and higher education students who are considering continuing their studies with a master's degree: Bioengineering ( Chemistry and Bioindustries, Environmental Science and Technology, Forest and Natural Area Management, Agricultural Sciences), Landscape Architecture*, Agroecology, Innovation Management and Food Design.
*Some courses in the Landscape Architecture program (interinstitutional) are held on the Charlemagne Agro Gembloux campus (see Course & Activity Schedule).
New for 2026:
Wednesday, February 18 at 1:30 p.m.:
Lecture by Sarah Wertz, graduate of the Master's program in Bioengineering in Forest and Natural Space Management, class of 2019, and winner of the 2025 special prize from the Fondation Eric et Dominique.
Sarah will discuss her academic career and student life on the Gembloux campus. She will talk about her professional experience and recount her commitment to humanitarian causes.

Dirty Matters
The soil game, supervised by students, will lead you to explore the different facets of soil: its importance, the life hidden within it, the constraints that human activities place on it, and different ways to protect and restore it.

VISIT THE UNIVERSITY RESIDENCE: every day from 3pm to 6pm.
If you are interested in on-campus housing, take advantage of the open classes to meet Bilal, a master's student in bioengineering in agricultural sciences, at the "Home des étudiants"! He will show you around the residence and share some anecdotes about the friendly atmosphere of this living space.
