Systematic revision in math, chemistry and physics

To help students with difficulties in math, physics or chemistry, revision sessions are scheduled every 3 or 4 theory classes.

During these sessions, the teacher and his assistants propose a variety of activities (Q&A sessions, solving sample exams, revising concepts that are more difficult to integrate, etc.) that enable students to check their understanding of the subject and fill in any gaps identified in previous lessons.

Monitorat

At Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, Block 1 bioengineering students have no classes onWednesday afternoons.

These afternoons are freed up to enable you to come and meet your assistants and discuss any questions you may have following your course work. These sessions are akin to one-to-one tuition offered by the Faculty and conducted by people well versed in the requirements of the course.

The aim is to help students who regularly work on their courses to keep up to date with the material.

Special monitoring sessions are scheduled before or during the January, June and August examination sessions . Assistants are on hand to answer any questions students may have.

Teaching resources on eCampus

e-Campus is the Université de Liège's distance learning platform. It contains a wide range of educational content: activities to prepare for practical sessions, corrected exercises, videos illustrating the concepts covered in the course and self-assessment MCQ questionnaires.

To ensure the continuity of courses during the period of confinement, Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech's teaching staff have developed numerous online tools, many of them doubling in originality to maintain the most interactive course dynamics possible: live lectures with student participation via remote voting systems, virtual field trips, video dissection demonstrations, fun tests to learn about the different types of questionnaires available for examinations... These tools are now used as study aids.
