Visit of a delegation from the Central African Republic

 On Tuesday 2 April, a delegation from the Central African Republic visited Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech - University of Liège, under the aegis of the President of the Central African Republic, H.E. Mr Faustin TOUADERA and the Minister of Agriculture, Honoré FEIZOURE. They were welcomed by the First Vice-Rector of the University of Liège, Prof. Jean Winand.

This visit was an opportunity for the President to focus on the innovation underway in Belgium and Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech by visiting the TERRA research centre and its facilities for predicting the effects of climate change. He was accompanied by the Governor of the Province of Namur Mr. Denis MATHEN, by the Minister of the Budget of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation André FLAHAUT and by representatives of the Province of Walloon Brabant. The event was a prelude to the participation of the President of Central Africa in the AFRICA-BELGIUM BUSINESS WEEK 2019 organized by AfricaRise and the Province of Walloon Brabant at the Hôtel Château du Lac (Genval) on April 3 and 4, 2019
